For payments made using Pix there is no deadline for requesting refunds on the NuPay For Business platform. According to the Pix regulations established by the Central Bank, the refund process for a payment using Pix can take place up to 90 days after the authorization date.
However, here at NuPay For Business we have created a mechanism that if the refund request happens after the 90 days of authorization, our system initiates a new Pix transfer and performs the return anyway.
For payments made using PicPay, the limit for requesting refunds for payments made either with an account balance or by credit card is up to 300 days after the purchase date.
Therefore, if there is a need to refund an amount paid through PicPay after the 300 day limit, it will be necessary to make the refund through an internal flow following the same model as the orders that were paid by boleto and refunded later.
