NuPay for Business takes the security of all information very seriously and with that in mind we have come up with a solution that will further enhance the security of our customers by granting access to financial and confidential information on the transaction panel only to the person who owns that access.
Two Factor Authentication is a form of security that will add an extra barrier of protection to your access to your NuPay for Business account, currently access is only done using a single factor (your email address and password combined), which is a safe access, but can become even better and more secure. We will add a second access factor (a numerical code) that is sent to you whenever access is required to our panel.
To further secure your NuPay for Business account, you will receive this security code in your registered e-mail address and this code must be entered along with your e-mail address and password when accessing the platform.
Please note that each code is personal and can only be used once. If not used, the code will automatically expire, and a new code will be sent to you the next time you log in.
No one from NuPay for Business will ask for this code, so please do not share it with others.
How does the access currently work?
- You enter your login email address and password on the platform, and click log in.
- After adding all data correctly, you will have access to your NuPay for Business Panel.
How will access work using Two-Factor Authentication?
- You enter your login email address and password on the platform, and click log in.
- You will be redirected to a page that asks for a 6 digit verification code, this code is sent to the registered email address.
- You will need to access your email, verify the 6-digit code you received, and then add it to the login page of your panel.
- After accessing your Email and entering the code, you just need to click on the "Secure Login" option and you will have access to your Panel.

- Does the verification code expire?
Yes, the code expires if not used within 5 minutes of request.
You can generate a new code after 5 minutes.
- How soon can I generate a new code?
You can only generate a new code after the previous code has expired, i.e. after 5 minutes.
On the panel there will be a timer showing how much time is left to generate a new code.
- Is there a limit to how many codes I can generate?
No, as long as you respect the 5-minute time limit between each code submission.
- If I make a mistake, how many attempts are allowed?
After 10 wrong attempts, your account will be blocked for 30 minutes. It will be unlocked automatically after this time.
- Will every login attempt require the code?
No. The login follows the same dynamics as today, i.e. access expires every 1 hour. After 1 hour the login process with the security code will need to be done again.
- I did not receive the validation code in my email, what should I do?
We ask you to check your spam and junk mail boxes. If you do not find it in either place, please contact our support team via the email address below.
